Changing pages into pictures...
In the fall of 2005 Dean traveled back to the Sahara with a film crew
from Wild Eyes Productions working for the History Channel. Their mission was to film an upcoming
documentary of Captain Riley's story as depicted in the best-selling Skeletons on the Sahara.
Not only did they do that, but Dean even made a new discovery about the
Riley story while he was there. Stay tuned. . . . Here's a sneak peak
of what is sure to be one of the most exciting documentaries to hit the
tube in 2006.

The travelers are swallowed whole by the desert... All photos by David Keane
A shot that would have struck terror into Riley and his shipwrecked crew.

On the Rack Again: Dean endures the "pleasures" of camel travel once more.
